We’re all on our own unique journey through life, right? After my fair share of childhood challenges, I began working in earnest on mine during college, with self-help books and my first attempts at conventional therapy. It’s been a long and winding path since then, exploring all sorts of things, including neurofeedback and the Hoffman process.

Eventually, after years of searching, I found a way of working that felt truly profound… and lasting. The impact was so transformative that it became the foundation of my own therapeutic practice.

At the heart of this work is Internal Family Systems (IFS), a gentle and deeply compassionate approach to therapy that honors your internal wisdom and never asks you to move faster than your system is ready for. Talking with a deeply attuned IFS therapist, sometimes turning to a mindful use of ketamine, has changed my life. And I imagine it can change yours, too.

My role as an IFS therapist is to walk alongside you on your path, trusting that your system knows exactly the right timing. If you’ve ever felt even a hint of judgment from your therapist, or a sense of your therapist thinking they know more than you – I’m here to promise you that no one will ever know more about you than you.  My job is to channel my innate curiosity and compassion to help you find the confidence, peace and even joy you might be looking for.

I’ve witnessed profound healing and freedom in this work, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you on your path.

Curious? I’d welcome the chance to connect.

Let me leave you with one last word of encouragement. Research shows, and I firmly believe this to be true, the most important factor in successful therapy is the quality of the relationship with your therapist. Drop me a line. Let’s see if we might be the right fit.

My Background

I grew up in West Texas and earned my Biology degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where I was honored to join Phi Beta Kappa. I later earned an MBA and spent more than twenty years in the clinical and pharmaceutical industry, gaining a deep understanding of drug development. Today, I closely monitor the clinical trial landscape in the emerging field of psychedelic treatments for depression, anxiety, and PTSD, knowing that with the explosion of clinical trials in this field, we are set for a future of groundbreaking therapies - in addition to the already legal use of ketamine.

I have completed trainings in several evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (certified), Internal Family Systems (Level 1), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing. My primary focus now is on IFS and the powerful combination of IFS with ketamine — the area where my training and passion have been centered in recent years.

Outside the office, I’m the proud mother of two wonderful young men and a grandmother. I’m currently the proud mom of a highly energetic and curious Brittany spaniel. I love few things more than watching her fly across an open field. The joy and freedom I see her experience – when she’s in her element, expressing who she is – that’s what I want for you, too.
